XMen Days of Future Past

This post was meant to go up a while ago but I forgot, I'm sorry but better late than never eh?
I went to see the film XMen Days of Future Past with two of my best friends, a while ago.
The main reason why I wanted to see this film was because James McAvoy was in it and also it was the latest of the XMen films.

This has to be my favourite XMen film so far I think mainly because James character Charles Xaiver goes on such an interesting journey and important character development in it. The film is about the XMen send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.

James was incredible in this film as always his acting is just truly amazing in this film. I love him as Charles and his character is so broken in this film. It's heartbreaking but incredible to watch too I don't want to spoil the film for you if you haven't seen it. But if you have seen it and the other XMen films then you know what I mean.

Even though this film is about superhero mutants, war, future and past it's also a film about family and friendship. And how through the darkest of times friends can really help other friends in need and friends are like family. Charles has lost too much in this film, his legs, his friend Eric and his sister Raven. But when Wolverine goes back in time to ask for Charles help to change the future. Charles has to use his power of reading people's minds in order to do that but as he does that, as his power comes back the use of his legs go, it comes with a price.
