The Fault In Our Stars Film

On the 23rd of June 2014 I saw the film The Fault In Our Stars, with my best friend. I was so excited to see this film because I had read the amazing book by John Green beforehand, because it had so much hype surrounding it and rightly so. If you are worried about the book not living up to the film then you shouldn't be, the film is an amazing adaptation of the book.

Now the film is obviously based on the book by John Green. The story/plot is about two teenagers called Gus and Hazel. Hazel's constant companion is an oxygen tank and Gus has a prosthetic leg. They meet at a cancer support group, become friends and they fall in love with one another.

Now the casting for this film couldn't have really been more perfect. This was the first film I had seen Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley in, but it made me fall in love with them. Especially Shailene and I now want to watch loads of her films. I'm yet to see Divergent but I saw The Descendants the other day which I thought was a good film but really sad. Anyway I've just fallen in love with the two main characters and actors involved in this film.

I think one of my favourite scenes in this film was the Anne Frank House scene. I couldn't find any GIFs of this scene or a YouTube link to this scene but if you've seen this film then I hope you agree with me. I just love the acting in this scene so much.

Some of my favourite songs from the soundtrack are: Not About Angels by Birdy, All I want by Kodaline, Simple As This by Jake Bugg. All of The Stars by Ed Sheeran, Tee Shirt by Birdy, Long Way Down by Tom Odell. Boom Clap by Charlie XCX, No One Ever Loved by Lykke Li & Best Shot by Birdy & Jaymes Young.

Overall I would recommend this film if you love drama, romance love stories.

If you've seen this film what did you think of it?

Also if you can recommend any other films Shailene has been in that would be great. I'm yet to see Divergent and read the book but I can't wait.

Love Kel
